TPM Foundation Donates US$5K To FASAA

TPM Foundation has donated US$ 5,000 to a Norton-based drug rehabilitation centre to alleviate its challenges in operations.

The money was handed over to FASAA Executive Director Dr Abigail Magwenzi by the Foundation’s patron and founder Temba Mliswa.

Speaking at the event Mliswa said the TPM Foundation was willing to partner with FASAA long-term to support its drug rehabilitation program.

“Going forward we shall be donating US$1,000 every month to the facility.

“Drug abuse has become a pandemic in the country and it requires our collaborative work,” he said.

Dr Magwenzi expressed gratitude for the gesture and said the facility, currently with around 30 patients, requires continued support from the local community.
